National Archives Kenya

National Archives Kenya;

The National Archives is housed in the old Bank of India building as the key floor gallery of documents and a collection of photographs and paintings of Mzee Kenyatta and former President Moi. The former President is exposed in his travels around the world, shaking hands with different dignitaries. Paintings from Joseph Murumbi’s compilation dominate the walls.

The second floor is the state Archives reading room, which is used for individual and professional projects and the trade fair of Kenyan handicrafts is also on display at the state Archives.

Activities: Crafts center or market place; Historical museum, Photo collection, exhibition.

However, its an ideal place for research and adventure guests.
